3. How to Replace GY6 Scooter Generator Stator
3.1 Prepare tools and accessories
Prepare cross and Phillips screwdrivers, socket wrenches, torque wrenches, pliers, and it is recommend to prepare additional cloths, sealant, and thread sealant (to assist in fixing the seal). 3.2 Detach the old coil
Dismantle the motorcycle seat and engine side cover. Before disassembly, take photos to keep the position of the wiring for easy installation;

Use a socket wrench or screwdriver to unscrew the fixing screws of the old coil (3 pieces) and trigger (2 pieces), and slowly remove the old coil;
Wipe the coil installation surface with a cloth to remove oil and debris.
3.3 Install a new coil
