The SUZUKI GN125 motorcycle fuel cock features a mechanically controlled fuel switch. Max Trading designed this switch based on the principle of a height difference between two fuel outlets.  It consists of three main core modules, enabling precise control of fuel delivery.

I. Dual-Stage Fuel Outlet Structure

The SUZUKI GN125 Motorcycle Fuel Cock has two fuel outlets inside the fuel tank with a height difference: the higher main outlet is responsible for daily fuel supply, meeting the vehicle's fuel needs under normal operating conditions; the lower reserve outlet is specifically for emergency situations when fuel levels are low. The operator can precisely switch the connection status of the fuel outlets by rotating the switch handle, ensuring stable fuel supply under different fuel level conditions.






II. Human-Machine Interaction Control Components


The SUZUKI GN125 Motorcycle Fuel Cock body is generally installed on the lower left side of the fuel tank (there may be slight differences in installation location depending on the model year). The switch is equipped with a rotatable handle with arrow markings. The function indicators pointed to by the handle correspond to the symbols on the switch body, allowing for intuitive identification of the gear position and simple and convenient gear switching.


III. Sealing and Filtration System


This module integrates three main components: sealing gaskets, a filter screen, and a guide pipe. The filter screen effectively intercepts impurities in the fuel, preventing blockage of precision components such as the carburetor; the sealing components completely eliminate the risk of fuel leakage, ensuring the stability and cleanliness of fuel delivery throughout the process.


The working logic of this fuel switch is very clear: in the default position, the higher main outlet is connected to the carburetor, providing regular fuel supply to the vehicle; when the fuel level drops below the main outlet, simply switch the switch to the reserve position, and the lower outlet will start working, fully utilizing the remaining fuel in the fuel tank to maintain normal vehicle operation.



The switch body is clearly marked with three major functional symbols, and the handle arrow points to the corresponding identification to achieve function switching:


  • ON/full cup water icon: The main fuel tank is in gear, corresponding to the high oil outlet hole, used when there is sufficient fuel to continuously supply fuel to the engine.
  • RES/Half Cup Water Icon: Backup fuel tank gear, corresponding to low oil outlet hole, switches when the main fuel tank is full, remaining fuel can support driving for tens of kilometers, reserved time for finding gas stations.
  • OFF/Off symbol: Stop gear, cut off fuel supply. When parking or repairing the vehicle, it must be switched to this position to prevent fuel leakage or carburetor overflow.
