Handling Performance and Forging Process

The JOG125 Motorcycle Steering Column is designed for the high-frequency urban commuting scenarios of scooters. Its steering angle design meets the requirements for flexible low-speed handling, and by optimizing the steering bearing clearance and adjusting the front wheel toe-in, it ensures straight-line stability and reduces resistance during low-speed turns. As a critical load-bearing component, the steering column (lower connecting plate) is formed using forging technology, with uniform and neat welds to the column, free from defects such as incomplete welds or pores. The pull-out force meets the industry safety standard of ≥ 29.4KN.


Material Selection and Surface Treatment

The material selection for the Motorcycle Steering Column balances practicality and cost control. The column uses 20# seamless steel pipe, and the lower connecting plate uses 20# or 35# steel, which is normalized at approximately 800℃. This heat treatment optimizes the grain structure, enhancing impact toughness and wear resistance. The surface is treated with black paint, which not only matches the sporty appearance of the JOG125 but also enhances rust resistance through a phosphating primer, making it suitable for use in rainy or humid environments.

Rigorous Quality Control System: Each batch of steering columns undergoes 300,000 fatigue strength tests and dynamic steering simulations under full load conditions to ensure the steering system maintains zero displacement within a safe steering angle range of ±48°, with critical component precision errors controlled to within ±0.5°.
